Induct Boots Bell into The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame!

Boots Bell was a radio and TV personality in the Youngstown, Ohio area for more than three decades. He is most remembered for hosting a daily radio program on pop station WHOT, but also promoted and influenced many local musicians over the years by playing their music at record hops, school dances and on his show. Due to his immense popularity, Boots was invited to introduce the Beatles before their concert in Pittsburgh in 1964; this was broadcast live on WHOT.

Boots' voice was instantly recognizeable on radio and television commercials as well. He hosted two successful TV shows, "Dance Party" (mid-1960's) and "What Generation Gap?" (early 1970's). Because of his humanitarian acts and love for the common man, Boots will never be forgotten by his multitude of fans although he left us in 1993.

Please sign this petition to induct a very deserving man into The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame (Non-musician section) His influence should be recognized, once and for all. Boots Bell's family and friends thank you for your support.
