It has recently been brought to our attention that Coach Cam has been let go of his position as the head coach of USF.
As we all know, Coach Cam took over a masters and youth program that was in transition and in need of stability/continuity. Coach Cam quickly established himself as a reliable, passionate and extremely competent coach and educator. Coach Cam has helped grow our athletes across the entire skill spectrum, from teaching proper technique to newer swimmers, to helping others strive for Pacific Masters records and US Masters Top-10 finishes.
Coach Cam managed to reinvigorate and re-energize the entire USF masters program in a very short period of time. In just a few months, attendance and participation were notably increased, as were the overall levels of fun and engagement. Prior to cancellation due to Covide-19, USF Masters was planning on sending one of it's largest teams ever to San Antonio, Texas, to compete for a top-10 finish.
Given he has been a crucial part of our training throughout this last few months and has always been very engaged not only as it comes to swim meets, but also in every single practice (two morning workouts and afternoon), making him a crucial asset to USF swim team family!
That said, we would love to have your support in signing this petition so we can get Coach Cam back on deck and start having some fun again!
