Demand to stop rent increase

We are all aware of the cost of living in the City of Los Angeles California yes the weather I must say is my favorite however they increase in rent and take home income annually for some people can be hardship. I recently went to the store and there was a sign petition I sign so if you agree that there should be a cap amount for landlords to charge there tenants please sign my petition.
