Uber, Give Female Passengers Option to Choose Only Women Drivers
As we are aware, there have been reports of an almost-rape incident that happened recently where a student from the University of Michigan was solicited for sex by her Uber driver. Uber is an awesome app that lets us book private taxis so that we may reach our destination quickly. However, "quickly" doesn't cut it anymore - we women want to arrive our destinations safely and without fear of being sexually harassed.
I'm petitioning Uber to update their app thus allowing us female passengers to choose women drivers only. I'm aware that this may be tricky to implement but there are other companies providing this convenience already. SheTaxis is one good example - females users are verified beforehand and only female drivers will be assigned to them should they decide to order the cab.
