Violent Offenders to Lose Their Facebook Pages

It is time for violent offenders to lose the benefit of Facebook. With Facebook utilized by 1/7th of the global population, it is a powerful social currency in today's world for countless people. If loosing a Facebook presence and the ability to socially connect via this vehicle is at risk for those considering violent crimes toward people or animals, if there is a clear and long-term repercussion, the real potential to mitigate violence is strong.

For those charged, arrested and found guilty for violent crimes against humans or animals, we ask Facebook to update their policy to reflect a decision to permanently remove the Facebook pages (both personal and business) associated with those charged, arrested and found guilty for violent crimes against humans or animals, with the understanding that Facebook has the power to aid in fostering a more healthful and peaceful global community by deciding to insure an accountable and non-violent Facebook community.
