Martin County, KY, it's time to demand dependable, usable, drinkable water!

For many years, the citizens of Martin County, KY, mainly on the Warfield side of the county, have had to suffer with water service that is very undependable, water being shut off constantly because of water line breaks which can be blamed on deteriorating, very old water lines and an over-worked system not originally built to provide water for an entire county. Many residents have also suffered with murky, mud-filled water, mucking up water lines and appliances, having to replace these water lines and appliances at their own cost. And these problems are added to the fact that our water has been contaminated so many times that it's almost never safe for drinking purposes. The water company employees cannot be blamed for these problems. They work tirelessly to address the many leaks that occur daily because of a dilapidated, over-stressed water system.
We, the people of Martin County, KY need to stand up and sign this petition so that it can get the attention from the authorities who can help to remedy our terrible water situation.
