Demand children be given FLU shot by law to save children's lives.

As of mid February of the 2018 FLU season a total of 89 children have died from the FLU. With the FLU an child can run a 104 to 106 fever which is very dangerous. That can cause severe dehydration quickly. Can end up being hospitalized. Can cause pneumonia damaging the lungs. I have health issues and get an FLU shot every year. One time I still got the flu. Sick for 3 days and didn't end up in the hospital. Had a fever of 103. My son has been given the FLU shot every year for 19 years and has not caught the Flu, not even when I did. If parents won't protect their children. A law should be made requiring them to protect their children. I wouldn't want one of the 89 children that passed from the Flu to be mine if I could of prevented it with a shot. Not trying to be mean, just truthful. Only 25% of the population gets an FLU shot. How much money will you be losing if you and your spouse missed an weeks worth of work. Plus the cost of the medication and a ER bill for one or more members of your family. An 105 fever seems to wait until 2am. When a FLU shot is $25 or less. I think the health dept has an sliding scale on what you pay.
