Reinstate Shanna Tippen

After the manager of the Days Inn in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Herry Patel, referred a Washington Post reporter to his employee, housekeeper Shanna Tippen, regarding an upcoming article on an increase in the minimum wage, to which Shanna stated that she was looking forward to it as it would allow her to purchase diapers for her grandson, the manager, Patel, fired her for expressing her opinion. Patel had earlier called the reporter to express his anger for his opinion about the wage increase being published (he opposed it).

Herry Patel refers his employee, Shanna Tippen, to a Washington Post reporter, then later fires her for speaking to the reporter. She is now in danger of bankruptcy and is looking for any job she can find, but has yet to have any luck. This manager pays his housekeeping employees minimum wage, but gets angry that they are glad to be receiving a paltry wage increase.
