End the Breeding of Captive-Born Wolves

"State and national regulators are letting the illegal breeding of captive-born wolves pass through their reach. In Tenino, WA, individuals are breeding captive- born wolves claiming that they are hybrids with at least 2% dog in them.

The breeding should have been stopped long ago when one of the breeders’ wolves escaped and attacked a dog in the area. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife finally stepped in and took the animal to a nearby wolf sanctuary that determined it to be 100% wolf, but even though Fish and Wildlife Services had the necessary evidence to take down this breeder, they said that it wasn’t as important as other matters they had to attend to.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife must put an end to the inhumane breeding of wolves for use as household pets."
