Promote Participatory Democracy in Liberia- End Longer Tenures For Public Elected Offices in Liberia

The longer tenures of office for public elected offices in Liberia enriched a few at the expense of the majority of Liberians. Given the fact Liberia is recovering from a civil war, the nation has to spread its resources equitably. One way of doing this is to reduce the term of office of the President from six to four year; the position of senator from nine to six years, and the position of representative from six to four years. Therefore, few citizens will not be entrenched in the position and amased wealth at the expense of the people.
