Boycotting destiny for a week

I have had destiny for a year now and it has been my favourite game until today when I came on to crucible and discovered I had 3 PvP gamemodes. I understand that it is because I need to purchase rise of iron but I think this is outrageous that I bought the game and need to spend the same amount to basically keep playing it. What makes me even more angry is the fact that bungie said the next dlc will be free due too micro transactions.
