Each year in a small town in China called Yulin, a festival called "Yulin Dog Eating Festival" is held. The title pretty much gives it away. At the summer solstice each year, for 10 days, about 10,000 to 15,000 dogs get cooked and eaten by the citizens of Yulin.
Reports have been made that people's dogs go missing, and within 2-5 days their dogs are found with their collars on, dead and cooked. They are usually stray dogs found on the street, but some have been stolen from households. This is cruel, and deserves immediate attention. This has been going on since 2009, and no one has put an effort in to stop it. Let's stand up against this, sign today. Our goal is stop Yulin before next year. Let's get 1000 signatures by September 31, 2015!
