Compromise Proposal: Name the new International Terminal after Stephen Harper

A war of petitions is escalating between those who want to rename Calgary International Airport (YYC) as Stephen J. Harper International Airport, and those who oppose such a move.

Instead of a protracted conflict over this matter, we can solve this the Canadian way.

YYC's new international terminal is currently under construction and on track to be completed in 2015 with a Fall 2016 opening. I propose that we name this new terminal as Stephen Harper International Terminal.

This will be fitting for a PM who upgraded millions of Canadian citizens to the first class.
