I demand the return of the Bradbury Pound

The Bradbury pound, which was introduced to Britain by Chancellor of the Exchequer David Lloyd George in 1914, represented a total rejection of the fractional reserve banking that has enriched the 0.1 % of the world's population and impoverished the remaining 99.9%. For too long the corporatocrats and their lapdogs in parliament have enslaved the citizenry by conjuring cash out of thin air, and subjecting us all to massive and interminable debt. It's time to "Rise like lions after slumber/ In unvanquished number/ Shake your chains to Earth like dew/ Which in sleep had fallen on you--/ Ye are many; they are few. (P.B. Shelley)
