Tell Judge Chutkan to reject Trump's ridiculous request to have his federal charges thrown out

Donald Trump's lawyers are trying just about anything to help Trump avoid being held accountable for his many crimes. Here's their latest ridiculous attempt: 

Lawyers for former President Donald J. Trump asked a judge on Thursday to throw out a federal indictment accusing him of conspiring to overturn the 2020 election and claimed that because the charges relate to actions he took as president, he should be "absolutely immune from prosecution."

Trump tried to overthrow our democracy, and because he was president, these lawyers say he shouldn't be held accountable for anything he did while in office. This is absurd – Trump and everyone involved in the attempt to steal the 2020 election should have the book thrown at them.
