With the recent passing of Ruth Bater Ginsburg, Donald Trump is wanting to replace her spot with someone else, who is going to most likely be Amy Coney Barrett. Barrett is heavily Christian, anti-LGTBQ, and pro-life.
If she were to replace Ginsburg, Roe v. Wade would most likely be overturned.
Roe V. Wade is a landmark decision in the US Supreme court in which the Court ruled that the US Constitution protects a pregnant woman if she chooses to have an abortion without extreme government restriction.
If Roe V. Wade gets overturned, women would do unsafe abortions to attempt to terminate their pregnancy. This can be dangerous. 68,000 women already die from unsafe abortions a year on average. The death rates would increase.
Roe V. Wade shouldn't be overturned. Demand the U.S Senate to not overturn Roe V. Wade. They shouldn't be telling us what to do with our bodies. Instead, we should work on lowering abortion rates. You can take away safe abortion, but you can't take abortion completely.
