Fired for a tiny heart tattoo? Really??

Kayla, a 27 year old woman from Rochester Hills, Michigan was hired by Starbucks nearly 5 years ago. At the time she had a heart tattoo about the size of a dime. According to reports, she has been an exemplary employee who loves her job.

Now suddenly the tiny tattoo she had when she was hired is not permissable. She must have it removed - not just hidden - or she will lose her job! Company policy, apparently not in place when she was hired.

Mr. Schultz, many people today have tattoos - they are a form of expression, a style or a statement. A heart tattoo is an expression of caring. Aside from the fact that you will lose a valuable employee - and possibly customers such as myself - this is unfair practice. You need to rethink your policy!
