There should be a Human Rights law in Russia that people have the right to be who they want to be without fear of being penalized for it. Russia's president, Vladimir Putin has signed a bill that is discriminatory in nature.
"The anti-propaganda law introduces fines of up to 5,000 rubles ($156) for citizens who disseminate information aimed at minors "directed at forming nontraditional sexual setup" or which may cause a "distorted understanding" that gay and heterosexual relations are "socially equivalent", the official publication of the bill showed...The fines go up to as much as 200,000 rubles ($6,250) for officials if such "propaganda" is disseminated through the media or Internet...Foreigners will not only be fined but face administrative arrest up to 15 days and eventual deportation, the law says. This is something that Putin wants to say is not anti GLBT but it is and he has signed the bill into law. Putin needs to hear from us all that this is discrimnation. Please stand with me in stopping this mistake from going farther than it should have already. Thank you for your support!
