Kathy's disabilities

Kathy is a 13 year old disabled girl. She has had 3 heart surgeries. She was born with a defect in her heart. A company named SSI gives Kathy's mother money monthly for Kathy's disability. They have stopped giving Kathy's mother money since the summer of 2015 in June. The company claims that Kathy isn't disabled anymore. But on the other hand Kathy's mother thinks that isn't right. Kathy's mother thinks Kathy is still disables because of the following reasons:
1. Kathy still takes medication for her heart
2. Kathy can not ride roller coasters
3. Kathy's lips turn purple when it's cold due to her condition 
4. Sometimes Kathy has trouble breathing when it's hot
5. Kathy breaths heavily after doing an activity that other normal kids can do easily
6. Kathy's doctor also claims that Kathy will probably have another heart surgery in the feature as Kathy grows older
7. Kathy still attends doctor appointments every 6 months for her heart
