Twitch.tv is a community for gamers and creative minds, NOT politics. Politics is a very controversial/sensitive topic that leads into heated arguments and overall disrupts the environment that people typically come to for the purpose of enjoyment. An instance of this disruption happened between a broadcaster known as Destiny and a YouTube content creator called JonTron. They had a two-hour "debate" (really just making over-exaggerated claims towards one another) over some political topic that had no place on a GAMING website. This discussion was put on a livestream for the purpose of Destiny milking money and views while bashing JonTron. This type of political drama should be prohibited on Twitch.tv as it encourages hate in an environment that should endorse fun. The purpose of this petition is for the Twitch.tv community to speak up and stop this atrocity on our beloved streaming platform.
