Make Swansea's Kingsway Safer!

It was nothing if not controversial, the decision to completely change the traffic system in and around Swansea’s Kingsway. Some say at best it is no improvement and at worst is downright dangerous for pedestrians and motorists alike. 

Figures showing a rise in collisions involving pedestrians from 18 between June 2006 to August 2009 and 25 over the next three years have led people to draw unfavourable conclusions.

We at the South Wales Evening Post are asking Swansea City & County Council to revert the Kingsway back to regular two way traffic to increase safety in the area.
