Ozzy Osbourne's Battle For OzzFest is a horrible MTV show that should be taken off the air or forced to stop animal abuse on the show. It tells the viewers that it's ok to abuse live animals, especially vulnerable children.
CRUEL GHOUL THAT ATE HOLLYWOOD
With Halloween almost here, we witness the ugliness of the human race. Ozzy Osbourne doesn't need to don a costume for he is a ghoul desguised as a human.
Battle For OzzFest is a horrible MTV show that should be taken off the air or they should at least be forced to stop animal abuse on the show. Even if the cruel act was faked, it still tells the viewers that it is ok to abuse live animals, especially vulnerable children.
Last Monday 10/25 at 10:00 pm PST they 'tease' the viewers by stating that the contestants will have to bite the head off of a live Egyptian fruit bat and showed footage of a girl bent over a squirming bat (with a "Bite The Bat" sign overhead), you see her bloody mouth, while another woman was holding a small bloody object on a cloth!
And why bats???? I'm surprised that the CDC (Center for Disease Control) isn't all over them for endangering the people biting the heads off of a rabies vector species (RVS). These are high health risk animals, and the rabies is most prevalent in the head (brain, saliva). WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?????????????????????
I am a skunk specialist and I know a lot of bat and other RVS rehabilitators that are outraged over this show, and that we get haranged about these species and the rabies risks, even hassled about getting permits to help them, but this kind of horror is unnoticed and allowed??!!!! I thought the health department cared about people getting rabies!!
And Sharon Osbourne claiming to be an "animal lover" is questionable.
1) She married a man who used to bite the heads off of chickens on stage, and called it entertainment. Would an animal lover be drawn to such a man?
2) She still stays married to a man who encourages animal cruelty to children by having this ridiculously dangerous act on MTV where biting the heads off of bats is fun. What animal lover would stay married to Ozzy when he still exhibits cruelty to animals? Any self-respecting animal lover surely would threaten divorce!
3) On The Sharon Osbourne Show, last Thanksgiving season, some Tom turkeys were guests of the show and Sharon kept calling them "bastards" and kicking at them. Is this how an animal lover acts? Is this a good message to exhibit on national TV in front of many millions of people?
She may have conned her way into an animal rights "Animal Lover" calendar for 2005, but just because someone has dogs doesn't mean they love animals.
There are child abusers that have children, and animal abusers that have animals, so do these people REALLY seem like animal lovers to you??
If MTV doesn't stop the abuse on their show, boycott all Osborne TV shows, movies, products and music. Call their producers and sponsors and tell them that you will boycott their products if they back this kind of dangerous animal abuse.
