We, the undersigned, are members of the Green Party (and/or Nader voters) who pledge our support to John Kerry for President in 2004. We believe it is critical to stop the destructive policies of the Bush administration and help bring the progressive values for which our party stands back to the national agenda.
Electing John Kerry will end the radical right's control of our government. We must:
· Stop Bush's devastating environmental rollbacks;
· Stop Bush's new nuclear weapons programs;
· Stop Bush's arrogant unilateral foreign policy;
· Stop Bush's assault on a woman's right to choose; and
· Stop Bush's radical right wing judicial nominees.
We believe John Kerry offers a clear alternative to George Bush. John Kerry has promised to:
· Protect the environment and increase development of renewable energy sources;
· Sign the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty;
· Implement a multilateral foreign policy;
· Protect a woman's right to choose;
· Increase public education funding; and
· Expand healthcare coverage to the uninsured.
By supporting John Kerry we can defeat George Bush and send a clear message to all Americans that democratic and socially responsible values can prevail over the corporate-driven, anti-environment, anti-civil rights, and anti-democratic policies of the Bush-Cheney administration. As Green Party members and former Nader voters we pledge to unite with people of all political stripes to evict George W. Bush from the White House and help advance the progressive causes for which our party stands.
