Kim Kardashian, Your Instagram Post Was Dangerous. Speak Up About Eating Disorders.

Hey Kim,

We all saw your Instagram post where you rave about your latest find — appetite-suppressing lollipops.

There is no denying that you are beautiful, famous and have a great physique but why not be honest and tell your 111 million Instagram followers that you go that way through a healthy diet and exercise — not sucking on a candy sucker that takes away your desire to eat.

Aside from probably not being that healthy for you, your post supporting these types of fad diets help foster poor eating habits at best and engender eating disorders at worse.

Women and men look up to you, hundreds of millions of them, with that admiration comes responsibilities, one of those being not leading your fans down a track that could leave to unhealthy eating habits and body shaming.

After several people called you out for your post, we noticed you took it down. I think you realized it was a bad move, but we would love for you to go further. Instead of just erasing it, why not use your Instagram to tell your 111 million followers where they can get help if they do, in fact, have an eating disorder?
