Tell Congress: Build Bridges, Not Walls

We have a crisis at our southern border: A moral crisis of immigrant children separated from their parents by the Trump administration. A crisis of refugee families detained on military bases. A humanitarian crisis, created by deploying soldiers in our border communities and outright banning some asylum seekers.

By pouring billions of dollars into the government's detention and deportation machine, Congress is rubber stamping the Trump administration's draconian immigration policies.

Congress has the power to end this: Tell your senators to reduce funding for detention, deportation, and border militarization.

The Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), a Quaker public interest lobby, is mobilizing thousands of advocates to help resolve this crisis. Together, we are calling on our elected officials to reject the status quo, and instead, invest in alternatives to detention, and expand government accountability.

Take action today: Urge your senators to solve the humanitarian crisis at our southern border.
