Tell Congress: Protect Consumers, Not Wall Street

Congressional Republicans want to put Wall Street and the big banks back in the driver’s seat.

They're pushing forward with the Financial CHOICE Act, which tears apart the consumer protections put in place after the big banks wrecked the economy with their reckless behavior.

The CHOICE Act would destroy the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which has given consumers and workers a way to fight back against these abuses.

In the past few years, the CFPB has helped over 30 million Americans who have been cheated by banks and credit card companies. Last year, when workers exposed how Wells Fargo had been duping customers and creating fraudulent, unauthorized accounts and credit cards, the bank was held accountable for this fraud, resulting in $185 million in fines. Wells Fargo's CEO was forced to resign in disgrace.

Congress needs to hear from you today that you support consumer protections and a strong Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
