Sign the Majority Opinion Before the Court Rules on Marriage!

California's discriminatory Prop. 8 says that loving, committed same-sex couples aren't worthy of marriage. And the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) says legally-married gays and lesbians can't have the 1000+ federal rights and benefits straight married couples enjoy.

This month, the Supreme Court will issue rulings in these cases - rulings that will profoundly affect the future of LGBT people and their families.

Anti-gay activists are trying to say that America isn't ready for full equality. But poll after poll proves a majority of Americans support marriage equality - and it's up to us to show the country what that support looks like.

Sign HRC's Majority Opinion petition now to show that we stand with the millions of people whose lives are affected by these discriminatory laws.
To Whom It May Concern:

It's 2013, and a growing majority of Americans support marriage equality.

We belong to that majority, and we won't stop fighting until every last couple in America has the right to marry, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.

As the Supreme prepares to rule on the Prop. 8 and DOMA cases, we stand united in support of all the plaintiffs -- Kris Perry & Sandy Stier, and Jeff Zarrillo & Paul Katami, the Prop 8. Plaintiffs, and Edie Windsor, the DOMA plaintiff -- and will continue fighting for the day when every loving couple can be granted a marriage license and receives the equal recognition they deserve.
