We Need a Financial Watchdog, Not a Lapdog

Do you feel let down by the British banks? Were you mis-sold a product like payment protection insurance (PPI)? Are you bamboozled by confusing T&Cs or fed up with poor customer service? It's time for change.

The government is setting up a new financial regulator -- the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) -- which should have the power to put us, the consumers, first. Which? wants the FCA to stop dodgy financial sales, name and shame poor players and make switching banks easier.

But it can only do this if the Financial Services Bill, currently going through Parliament, makes it clear that the FCA must be a watchdog that stands up for consumers not a lapdog that panders to the banks.

We need your support to convince members of parliament to keep consumer protection at the heart of the Financial Services Bill.

If you agree with Which? that the new Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) should be strong, open and proactive -- a real consumer watchdog -- please pledge your support.
I'm Milo, the face of Which?'s Watchdog not Lapdog campaign. I beat 200 dogs to get this job and I'm ready to show my teeth to the banks, bark at poor customer service and sniff out dodgy financial products. Do you think the new financial regulator -- the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) -- should be just like me? Pledge your support:

I, [Your Name], want the FCA to be strong, open and proactive -- a real consumer watchdog.
