Tell the Mayor of London to End Lorry Danger

Collisions with lorries are the number one cause of cyclist deaths; in the first half of 2015, lorries were involved in all but one of the cycling fatalities in London.

Too many cyclists have been killed — it's time for Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, to act! We're urging three immediate steps to help save lives:

  • a ban on lorries during rush hour
  • commitment to using lorries with "direct vision" design — lorries with enhanced visibility and fewer blind spots
  • stronger enforcement around lorry operators — ensuring all drivers on the road are licensed and trained.

We must address this problem before more innocent people lose their lives. Take action today to tell the Mayor of London we must end lorry danger now.
