Prevent Cuts To Medicare Reimbursements To Support Patient Access To Care

Many American patients struggle to access the healthcare they need, a problem that has been made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic, physician shortages, healthcare provider shortages and burnout. Now, cuts to Medicare physician reimbursement rates may force more physicians to opt out of the Medicare program entirely.

Use your voice to tell lawmakers to stop the scheduled cuts to Medicare reimbursements and protect patient access to care.

Stop the Scheduled Cuts to Medicare Reimbursements

Dear Legislator,

As a constituent concerned about protecting access to affordable healthcare for seniors, I urge Congress to act before January 1, 2023, to prevent upcoming cuts to Medicare that would restrict patient access to physicians.

Many American patients struggle to access the health care they need, a problem that has been made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic, physician shortages, health care provider shortages and burnout. Now, a combination of rising medical inflation and cuts to Medicare physician reimbursement rates may force more physicians to opt out of the Medicare program entirely. As a result, many patients – particularly vulnerable and underserved Americans in rural and urban communities – will lose access to the doctors they know and trust, and in many cases depend on for life-saving care.

We need your leadership to protect Medicare as we know it, and to ensure seniors maintain access to quality and affordable healthcare, regardless of where they live. I urge you to support legislation before the end of the year that will prevent the scheduled cuts to Medicare reimbursements and protect our access to care.

Sincerely,
Constitute
