Demand that New York City Close its subway system, and suspend parking regulations, until we "flatten the curve" of the covid-19 pandemic

We have been asked to stay at home if non "essential", we have been asked to practice social distancing at a minimum of 6 feet when we are in public.
These goals are impossible in the NYC subway system during rush hour, even with the lighter crowds of "essential" workers only.
We need to protect our essential workers and not crowd them in subway cars or the narrow hallways and long escalators of the NYC subway system.
The city should also suspend parking regulations to accommodate "essential" workers and allow them to park on the streets of Manhattan & the other boroughs
