Denounce Newt Gingrich's Shameful Rhetoric Against Judge Sotomayor

After a public uproar, former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich is finally trying to backtrack from his outrageous statements claiming that President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Judge Sonia Sotomayor, is a racist.

Too little, too late.

With Gingrich soon to headline a lucrative fundraising dinner to benefit House Republicans, we can not allow Gingrich or Republicans in Congress to simply walk away from their offensive personal attacks.

We only have until June 8, so please act today! Tell National Republican Congressional Committee Chair Pete Sessions that Congressional Republicans should denounce Newt Gingrich's shameful rhetoric and disinvite him from their fundraising dinner.
Dear Representative Sessions,

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is finally trying to backtrack from his recent claim that President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Judge Sonia Sotomayor, is a racist. But it's too little, too late.

Gingrich is headlining your NRCC fundraising dinner on June 8 -- but his shameful rhetoric should not be tolerated. Please denounce Gingrich's words and send a message that such outrageous statements will not be tolerated by disinviting him from your fundraising dinner.
