Many large corporations do not have any kind of accountability to any governing organization when it comes to enforcing the Americans With Disabilities Act. The only time the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission gets involved is if someone calls and files a complaint. For many people with disabilities they are afraid and loosing their job had left them with a hopeless outlook. This is exacly what corporations want. They falsely accuse and fire people with disabilities leaving the former employee feeling like they were justly fired and one step closer to applying for disability. When they could be paying taxes instead of living off them. So what is the Solution.

A solution to this is keeping big corporations accountable. Pass a law that states that the E.E.O.C. can at any given time, with prior notice, has the right to audit a bussiness to make sure that the law is being properly satisfied. Also that the audit would be limited to just ADA employees In doing so companies would be more likely to keep up and would more likely out of the possibility of being audited practice better employment standards. It could lessen the amount of lawsuits and overworked federal employees. The Idea that people with mental, learning and physical disabilities are concidered to be to much of a problem or too big of a risk is just unamerican. There should be more training and required hours for management. The more people know the better the chances of success on both sides.
