Where's the Straight Talk on Birth Control, Senator?

If you haven't watched this video, you really need to. Senator John McCain can't answer the question about different standards for insurance companies covering birth control and Viagra.

We can't let Sen. McCain get away with a non-answer on this important issue. He has a clear record of letting insurance companies cover Viagra but not birth control.

Will he stand by that record? Tens of millions of Americans tuning into the debate deserve to know. Urge debate moderator Bob Schieffer of CBS News to ask McCain about his record on birth control.
Dear Mr. Schieffer,

There are few issues affecting more Americans than access to birth control - 98 percent of American women use birth control at some point in their lives.

During this campaign, Sen. John McCain has ducked questions about his anti-contraception voting record. I hope you will help clarify for American voters where Sen. McCain stands by asking him simply:

"You have voted against requiring insurance companies to cover prescription birth control. Do you stand by that position and do you think it's fair for insurers to cover Viagra but not birth control?"

Americans deserve straight talk on this fundamental matter. Please ask this question and insist on a clear answer next Wednesday night.
