Demand that The Tuscaloosa County Jail be investigated by the Depatrtment of Justice for the policy of denying inmates medical treatment

    On February 15, 2015 Phillip David Anderson died in the custody of the Tuscaloosa Police Department after being denied medical treatment for an ulcer. This policy of denying medical treatment to inmates needs to be reviewed and abolished. As citizens we demand that some type of action occurs that will prevent jail officials from allowing inmates to lie in pain and suffer while no treatment is given, this is cruel and unusual punishment by simple definition
