Why should my TV license fee be used to provide free TV services for people over 75 who have far mor

This new system whereby the BBC will subsidise the provision of free TV for the over 75s has not been properly debated with the people who are going to have to pay or their elected representatives; it is a closed shop deal done by George Osborne and the Head of the BBC - both part of the same elite wealthy establishment. The previous heads of the BBC had greater integrity and resigned rather than implement it. I have no objection to providing a free service for those elderly persons who have limited financial means but making a blanket provision for all over 75s regardless of their weath and income is ridiculous and making those of us who are required to pay a mandatory TV license, regardless of our means, pay for it is criminal. Why should the hospital cleaner provide Mick Jagger or the Queen with a free TV license?
