Stop schools from enforcing unnecessary dress codes against spaghetti straps tank tops, leggings and bodycon dresses .

KatyISD restricts their students in junior high schools all except the most recently added school ,stockdick, from wearing spaghetti strap tank tops, bodycon dresses and leggings. The students should be allowed to wear whatever they please within reasoning. Obviously they don’t want the students roaming around in booty shorts and crop tops which is understandable considering we want to have a good reputation here at our schools but tank tops ,leggings and form fitting dresses aren’t a distraction to the students. We’ve all seen shoulders or people wearing leggings or a form fitting dress so why is that unacceptable at these junior high schools? why are they teaching the students that we should cover and hide away parts of our bodies that we were born with ,such as our shoulders, just because they don’t feel comfortable with us doing so or because it’s a “distraction” even though nobody understands how seeing a body shape or shoulders would effect their learning. I’d like for these schools to be far more lenient with their dress codes and allow their students to wear what they want as long as it’s reasonable asap.
