Tell Canadian Parliament to Ban All Types of Bestiality!

A British Columbia man used the family dog to molest his two step-daughters. Initially convicted of bestiality, his conviction was overturned when the Canadian Supreme Court ruled that bestiality only refers to acts of penetration.
Canada's bestiality rules are outdated and in need of revision. Using animals to perform any kind of sexual acts, including oral acts without penetration, is exploitative and has no place in a civilized society. Allowing this man to escape a bestiality conviction will encourage other abusers to obtain animals for the same reason.
Camille Labchuk, executive director of the group Animal Justice, says, "Sexual abuse of children is often linked with sexual exploitation of animals as well. So it's not only important for the animals that Parliament act swiftly, but also to protect children from this type of exploitation." That was clearly the case here; the man used a family pet to abuse his own step-daughters.
