Reject spending $500 million of taxpayer money to fund a new Texas Rangers stadium

On November 8, voters in Arlington, Texas, will decide on a proposition to use $500 million of taxpayer money to fund a new stadium for the Texas Rangers. This is a bad deal for fans — the proposition includes language allowing new taxes on tickets and parking, meaning fans will end up paying more to attend Rangers games.

It's outrageous that billionaire owners will get a taxpayer giveaway and still price fans out of the game. Even worse, this scenario has been playing out in cities across the country, and it will only continue unless the fans speak up and put a stop to it.

Sign the petition to stand with Rangers fans — and sports fans everywhere — to fight owner greed.
