Take on fake reviews with Which?

Fake reviewers will say anything about any product, no matter what the cost is to you or your family. The misinformation in fake reviews is costing us all time, money and even safety.

While thousands of potentially fake reviews are being removed from platforms like Amazon each month, this isn't nearly enough to address a real problem for online shoppers that seems to be getting worse, not better.

Facebook groups, with names like 'Amazon UK Reviewers', connect sellers with people willing to write fake reviews for a fee. Just seven of these groups had a combined membership of more than 87,000 people.

We're calling on Facebook, Amazon and other huge organisations to sort this mess out. Support our work and help us fight the misinformation in fake reviews.
