Senator Burr: Stop Blocking Aid to Small Business!

It's a simple idea: Jumpstart the economy by helping small businesses grow and hire again.

How do we do it? By passing the Small Business Jobs Relief Act of 2010.

The bill, which is currently being blocked by Senator Richard Burr, provides significant tax breaks to small business owners and creates a program that gives funds to community banks to lend out to small businesses. It's completely paid for, and is estimated to create over 500,000 jobs!

Burr didn't have a problem bailing out the Wall Street banks that fund his campaign. But when a bill comes along that will create jobs and help small businesses get back on their feet, Burr is standing in the way.

Tell Senator Burr to end his filibuster of the Small Business Jobs Relief Act of 2010 today!
Dear Senator Burr,

I am writing to voice my support for the Small Business Jobs Relief Act of 2010, and to request that you end your filibuster of this bill immediately.

The United States needs this bill to help the economy and create jobs. I am frustrated that you would be blocking such an important bill for the recovery of our country.

[Your comment]

Please end your filibuster immediately and allow President Obama to sign the Small Business Jobs Relief Act of 2010.
