Put the Public Works Industrial Campus on land zoned industrial:commercial only. Put spending to a voter referendum, no open checkbook.

Blue Earth County wants to put their public works industrial campus on land zoned agricultural. Which, in the first place, goes against Mankato Township Land Use Ordinance, but they also want to waste taxpayer dollars buying 67 acres when they state that they need 30 acres at almost 3x the market value of the land. That doesn’t include sewer and water or other utilities. Their plan also includes a lot of excess waste including, but not limited to, an exercise room. Keep both elected officials and county employees accountable for extensive spending.
