Tell Congress: Protect Rural Hospitals

Each year, rural hospitals serve 1 in 5 Americans — that's roughly 65 million people.

Those hospitals don't just provide life-saving health care — they also provide good jobs. In fact, 1 in 7 jobs in rural America come from the local hospital.

Sadly, under a one-size-fits-all health care system, whether it be Medicare for all, Medicare buy-in, or public option, more hospitals — particularly rural hospitals — are at risk of closing.

We're standing up for our rural hospitals by standing against one-size-fits-all health care. Will you join us today?

Right now, rural hospitals are already underfunded by the government for the services they provide.

If we enact one-size-fits-all health care, rural hospitals will become more dependent on the government for funding. And, with government funding for rural hospitals already stretched too thin, government-run health care means more rural hospitals will close.

We believe that no patient should have to worry about losing access to care because of where they live. We believe that no patient should have to worry that their local hospital will close because of a government-run health care system.

Will you join us in standing up for our rural friends and neighbors by saying no to one-size-fits-all health care, and saying yes to keeping our rural hospitals open?
