Tell Mark Carney to deliver on free prescription medication for all Canadians!

DID YOU KNOW: Canada is the only country with universal health care that doesn't cover prescription drugs.

Right now, millions of people can't afford the medications they need. Universal pharmacare would fix this by providing free, publicly funded prescription coverage for everyone, beginning with contraception and diabetes drugs. Mark Carney has promised to finalize deals with the provinces "as quickly and as equitably as possible." But as of right now, only PEI, Manitoba, Yukon, and BC have signed agreements.

Promises are not enough. People need medication now.

Tell Mark Carney to turn his words into action and deliver universal pharmacare for every Canadian.

Dear Prime Minister Carney,

Canadians need universal pharmacare, and they need it now. No one should have to skip prescriptions, or choose between medication and other essentials. Yet four out of five people in this country still do not have coverage for life-saving drugs like insulin and contraception.

I am calling on you to move quickly, finalize agreements with every province and territory, and deliver pharmacare for all.

Canadians are counting on you to turn your commitment into action.

I have also CC'ed Health Minister Marjorie Michel and my local MP on this email so they are aware of the importance of this issue and know that Canadians are paying attention.
