Tell Congress: Don't let help for families run out!

Congress took a step in the right direction when it expanded and improved the Child Tax Credit in the American Rescue Plan earlier this year, and we've already seen the result of these monthly payments to millions of parents: children are being lifted out of poverty.

We can't let these payments expire at the end of the year — children and families across California and the entire country will still need support.

Will you take a moment to urge your representatives in Washington, D.C. to make the new Child Tax Credit permanent?
Dear [Decisionmaker],

As your constituent, I urge you to make the new Child Tax Credit permanent. The improved CTC, with monthly payments, is helping millions of families pay for necessities, like groceries, gas and school supplies. But monthly payments are set to expire at the end of 2021. Families in need will still have monthly expenses to pay, so we must keep the Child Tax Credit changes, including the monthly payments.
