Tell VA Legislators: Insurers Aren't Doctors

In Virginia, sometimes when doctors prescribe treatments, insurance companies play doctor and require patients to try one or several other drugs first, with no medical justification.

The patient must wait for the doctor-prescribed treatment, often for weeks, months or even years, as they try each of the insurer-mandated drugs one by one and proves that the insurer's preferred treatment didn't work.

No one should have to suffer without their medication because insurers think they know better than healthcare professionals.

Tell your Virginia legislators it's time to say no to insurance companies playing doctor.
