Sign on to demand the end of extreme child poverty for almost half a million California children

There are almost half a million children living in extreme poverty in California — the equivalent of the eighth largest city in the state — and their dreams and futures are being cut short because of a lack of access to food, health care and, all too often, shelter.

Extreme child poverty is not a fact of nature — it's a result of policy, and we're changing it together.

The good news is that California has the End Child Poverty Plan: a concrete, achievable, research-based plan that will END extreme child poverty in our state for 450,000 children and cut the overall child poverty rate in half. We're the only state with something like this.

Together with families, our partner organizations, community leaders, and allies like you, we're working to educate, organize, and advocate to fully fund the plan so we can END extreme child poverty in California for good.

Join us to power our movement towards building a California where all children have what they need to thrive.
