Chick-Fil-A, Leave "Eat More Kale" Alone!

Kale may not be a glamorous vegetable, but it is rich in nutrients, including the cancer-fighting sulphoraphane. When artist Bo Muller-Moore designed T-shirts featuring the slogan "Eat More Kale," he simply sought to promote the benefits of locally produced agriculture and community-based food movements. But now, fast food giant Chick-fil-A is trying to shut him down.

In this unlikely David and Goliath story, Chick-fil-A alleges that Muller-Moore's T-shirts create confusion in the marketplace by clashing with their slogan, "Eat Mor Chikin." Even more unbelievably, Chick-fil-A is concerned that "Eat More Kale" will hurt chicken sales.

Muller-Moore told the Christianpost.com that he came up with the slogan ten years ago, that he had, at that time, never heard of Chick-fil-A, and that the closest Chick-fil-A to his remote Vermont home is 120 miles away.

Tell Chick-fil-A to drop its suit against Bo Muller-Moore and to leave "Eat More Kale" alone!
I am writing to urge you to drop your suit against "Eat More Kale" artist Bo Muller-Moore. Your allegation that Muller-Moore's product will somehow "hurt" Chick-fil-A's sales is not only unlikely; it is downright ludicrous.

Muller-Moore is simply trying to promote the advent of community-based farm movements. When he created his slogan, he had never heard of Chick-fil-A's slogan; in fact, the nearest Chick-fil-A is over 100 miles away from his remote Vermont home.

Please allow this innovative artist to bring vastly needed attention to local food movement. I urge you to drop the suit against Bo Muller-Moore.
