Stop the Richmond Pond Assoc. from using herding dogs to chase out the water fowl, and terminate the goose eggs.

The Richmond Pond Assoc. has labeled our goose population on the pond and in the swamps a nuisance. They're set to bring in a team of trained herding dogs to chase the geese out, and then terminate their eggs. They plan on bringing the dogs in before, during, and after the nesting season. Our goose population is not that large and when the geese are on the main pond they are often in the same location as our Bald Eagles, Osprey, Great Blue Herons, Green Herons, Wood Ducks, Common Mergansers, Hooded Mergansers, Night Herons, , Ring Billed Gulls, and a pair of beautiful loons among many other species that call Richmond Pond home. It will be impossible to run trained herding dogs here without disturbing all of our beautiful wildlife, including the protected species like the eagles. Please sign this petition so we can let the Richmond Pond Assoc. (which consist mainly of summer residents) know that this is not acceptable.
