Don't let the NRA bully Pennsylvania!

The gun lobby is working on a shocking and dangerous plan to undermine public safety by passing a dangerous bill known as special standing/punitive preemption, that would allow the NRA and other gun groups to sue our cities over their local firearms ordinances.

You heard that right. Instead of expanding background checks and making us safer, they want to give the NRA special rights! They've tried this before and were almost successful. If they pass this bill, it could mean guns in our public parks, elimination of lost and stolen gun reporting and lawsuits that could bankrupt our towns!

This bill is dangerous. It could bankrupt towns and cities and it makes us less safe. It is a short-sighted effort to give another gift of appeasement to the gun lobby.
